In good news for County Leitrim four schools in the region are set to benefit from additional funding through the Clár programme.
€50,000 has been allocated to Mohill Community College for an upgrade to their astroturf pitch while 20,700 has been allocated for Largy NS for an upgrade of the playground.
St Joseph’s in Leitrim village will receive €16,200 for a playground at the school and St Brigids in Kilnagross is also being granted €24,00 for a basketball court.
And finally €36,000 has also been allocated to Bornacoola GAA club for the provision of a pedestrian crossing and speed safety signs at the local pitch.
