I would like to make people aware that Roscommon County Council are currently accepting applications for funding under the Tidy Towns and Amenity Grants Scheme 2019 which means that monies will be made available to Tidy Towns Associations and Local Development Groups to aid them in their work as they carry our small scame amenity projects. Priority may be given to the Tidy Towns Associations who enter the National Competitions during the coming year; however local groups who carry out small developments but do not enter the competition will also be considered.
Payment will only be made in respect of eligible, approved projects on receipt of valid vouched expenditure and confirmation that proposed projects have been completed and the maximum grant payable will be amount allocated or 75% of the vaue of invoices submitted.
