In a bid to highlight the problems those struggling with mental health face the charity ‘Grow’ are organising a free two week community mental health programme in Castlerea, to take place on Tuesday September 18th and again on Tuesday September 25th. The first talk will be facilitated by Rachel Heviken, psychotherapist and life coach and will be on the subject of relationships while the second is on HSE’s Safetalk, both of which take place in Tully’s Hotel. This will be facilitated by psychotherapist Mary Larkin and is a suicide prevention programme which helps participants identify people at risk of suicide and connect them with rescources that can help them stay safe.
A free ‘Grow’ mental support group for anyone who needs to talk takes place in the Roscommon Women’s Network building, the Old Mill, Castlerea at 2p.m. each Thursday.
