€14. 3 million has been announced by Transport Infrastructure Ireland to be invested into roads in County Roscommon. This substantial allocation will go towards working on the new section of road at the Hill of Oran, upgrading sections of the Boyle to Athlone road as well as resurfacing roads in Athleague and Castlerea. It is hoped that these monies will go a big way towards making the roads of the County both accessible and safer.
